September 6, 2008: Engine 2 and Tower Ladder 2 were dispatched for a 3rd alarm fire in the Arlington Fire District at around 9:45am today. Arlington was originally dispatched by D911 for a mattress fire at 134 Innis Ave., but units on scene had heavy smoke showing from the second floor and in the cock loft of a 2 story garden apartments. Tower Ladder 2 was ordered to the roof to assist with ventilation. There were no reported injuries.
