October 2, 2009: At around 10pm, City 911 dispatched all companies for a reported Structure fire at 134 Mansion St. DC Decker arrived on scene within minutes a found a 2 1/2 Story vacant building with heavy fire from the second floor and there was also a burn victim. DC transmitted the 10-75 but then immediately requested a 2nd Alarm because there was severe exposure problems on both sides of the fire building. First due Engine 2 stretched a line to protect exposure 2 and Engine 3 found a Hydrant to supply Tower Ladder 2. A 3rd Alarm was transmitted to relocate companies into the City Stations. There were no other injuries and the City PD and FD are continuing their investigation.
