June 23, 2009: Around 8:30am Firefighters went to work at the Swartz Senior Citizen Building with a fire in apartment 6C on the 6th floor. Car 10 transmitted the 10-76 bringing in Fairview with their F.A.S.Team and an extra Truck from Arlington FD. This building which has no standpipe would be difficult for any department let alone the Poughkeepsie FD with only 10 Firefighters on duty.
