Jan 6, 20012: A serious MVA occurred on Academy st. near Livingston st which Firefighters from Eng 1 and Eng 3 had to perform extrication on one of the drivers.

In Remembrance of Detective John Falcone Rest In Peace

10-75 24 LEXINGTON AVE

Feb 9, 2011: An Alarm of Fire was dispatched for smoke coming from the attic of 24 Lexington ave. First due Engine 2 transmitted the 10-75 with smoke showing. The fire was located in the ceiling of the 2nd floor. The fire was under control within a half hour and there were no Firefighter injuries.

It is with deep regret that Local 596 acknowledges the passing of 24 year Veteran Capt. David Seifts. More information to follow as it is received.

UPDATE: Calling Hours will be Friday Jan 21, 2011 at Doyle Funeral Home on Hooker Ave from 5pm - 7pm. No Flowers and donations made to either American cancer Society or Hospice. Memorial Services will be held at 7pm by Jerry Lindley.
